There was a time when the kitchen was the centre of health. Food was not just something to fill the body. Oil was not just used in cooking. Spices were not just flavour.Beauty was not outsourced. What entered the home carried meaning, memory, care, and responsibility.

Somewhere along the way, that connection was broken. Convenience took over. Labels became harder to trust. Food became more processed. Beauty became more synthetic. Wellness became louder, faster, and more confusing. Families were left trying to make better choices in a world that made those choices harder.

By the time Mums Mill was formally established in 2019, the work had already been shaped through years of lived practice, small-batch making, household use, and a deep trust in natural ingredients. Mums Mill was born from a mother’s conviction that the everyday things used in a home should be cleaner, safer, and made with care. It began with natural food and skin care products for Australian households, shaped by the belief that what we bring into our homes should support the health, rhythm, and future of the family.

Over time, that conviction grew into something larger. Because health is not held by products alone. It lives in the choices we repeat every day — what we eat, what we apply, how we rest, how we care for the body, what we allow into the home, and what we pass on to the next generation.

That evolution became Healla. Healla carries the origin of Mums Mill forward, but with a larger responsibility.

Today, Healla Integrative Wellness brings together natural food, herbal products, therapeutic oils, integrative therapies, practitioner systems, and education for households and wellness businesses. It exists to make natural living easier to trust, easier to understand, and easier to live by. We are here to restore what should never have been lost: the relationship between nature, the body, the home, and the generations that follow. Every product, service, and educational pathway is built with that responsibility in mind — grounded in traditional systems, strengthened by structure, and held to a standard that respects both the source and the people who use it.
